“Caring for Your Hearing Aids in the Summer Heat”

Summer fun can be tough on hearing aids. Here’s how to protect them:

• Keep them dry: Use a drying kit or dehumidifier overnight.
• Clean daily: Gently wipe with a soft cloth to remove sweat and debris.
• Avoid heat: Never leave them in a hot car or direct sunlight.

🧠 Hearing & Cognitive Health

Did you know that untreated hearing loss is linked to cognitive decline? Studies show that hearing loss can increase the risk of memory issues, social withdrawal, and even dementia. The good news? Using hearing aids and staying socially active can help protect your brain health.

Tip: Schedule regular hearing check-ups and encourage loved ones to do the same.
